The Application process for program year 2025-2026 will open mid-December.
The Graduate School’s Application portal will maintain applications received after the current program year dates, 2024-2025 for consideration for the next program year, 2025-2026.

On the UGA Graduate Application page, applicants will need to: main application page, applicants will need to:
- Create an account
- Click to begin an application
- Select Campus “Athens”
- Select Degree Level “Non-Degree or Transient”
- Select Intended Program “Non Degree, General Study, or Transient [NON_GM]”
- Select What is the purpose of your non-degree study? “Post-Baccalaureate Research Education Program (PREP)”
- Select fall term of the upcoming year
- Complete the remainder of the application. Please review the application requirements page for details on the information needed for a complete application.
- There is a fee for applications to be processed. A limited number of fee waivers are available. To be eligible for a fee waiver, applicants must first complete and submit their application. Then applicants must email prep@uga.edu to request the waiver.
- Applications must have a waiver or fee paid to be considered complete and ready for consideration.
